Well Care Kick-Off Meeting in Brussels
The inaugural in-person meeting for the Well Care project took place in Brussels on February 7th and 8th. Representatives from all partner organizations attended, except the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA).
Over these two intensive and productive days, 14 partners became acquainted and reviewed the project’s objectives, work plan, and expected outcomes. Detailed discussions were held for each work package, focusing on the proposed methods and timelines.
We had the pleasure of welcoming our Project Officer, Sara Brazys, from the Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA). She provided an overview of best practices and guidance for managing EU grants, particularly those relevant to the WELL CARE project. Sara Brazys congratulated the partnership for being one of only three projects out of 43 applications to secure funding under the Horizon Europe’s Call for proposals on ‘Resilience and mental wellbeing of the health and care workforce’.
WELL CARE was invited to explore informal or formal collaborations with the other two funded projects (Apollo28 and Support4Resilience) to discuss potential joint activities, events, and publications, with the European Commission offering organizational support if needed.
